Jehovah's Witnesses are NOT false prophets
by SloppyJoe intonight on the service meeting we discussed why jws are not false prophets.
of the ten minute part two were spent discussing that jws just had wrong expectations and only very minor changes over the years although nothing specific was mentioned.
the other eight focused on the core bible truths that have remained the same over the years.

~Humble and Childlike~
by freeflyingfaerie inyou remember the 'encouragement' to be teachable, humble, like little children.... well, children ask questions, and lots of 'em.... so, what happens when we keep on wondering and have questions that demand answers?.
according to jw's, a person has to stop being teachable like little children.
a person is told not to do any real research (which requires humility, a sense of wonder, and openness to new ideas and concepts)....for fear that research done outside of the organizations approved sources- their own- a person may discover contradictions and lies.

To be humble and open minded is to have no pre-conceived and biased opinions about what we don´t know. The problem is when someone starts to believe, the belief itself removes this innocent state. So, instead of keeping an humble state and open mind, JW want to close you down (even if they believe they are open and humble). But they are to blind to realize it. That´s not a opinion, it´s a fact.

YAY!!! My first time being shunned and it was humorous to say the least
by confusedandalone ina good friend of mine invited me to a party after her meeting on sunday.
i told her i was not going any longer and she doesn't care.
she also let us know that no other witnesses would be there.

How can any JW have full trust in the GB? If every JW have made their homework well since last year (Wt 2012-08-15 "we shall learn all we can about the historiy of Jehovah´s eartly organization") they SHOULD reflect a little bit more on this question:
